Sanctuary Christian Bookstall

We will endeavour to have a craft meeting, every second Tuesday here at the rainbow house, making colourful woorship ribbons, t shirts, cards etc. for an outside stall in the Wednesday flea market. Volunteers are more than welcome.

The Lord is saying: You could never have envisaged how I could overcome all that faced you, but I have brought you through. The worse is behind you. Do not fear the future, for I will do over and above all that you could ask and will show myself strong on your behalf.

A Vision of the Trials and Testings that come against the love and sovereinty of Jesus

"This morning the Lord gave me 3 visions. In the first one He took me to a high cliff. We were stood at the top on the edge looking over the sea. The sea was raging. It went out and came in each time more furiously as if to swallow us up. It came up so high and loud but could only leave a fine mist even when it reached the top of the cliff. . However, sometimes it would wet us through but it was a good feeling. One of excitement and adventure that even the great power behind the mighty ocean had to keep its boundaries. Jesus said He wanted me to view every trial like this, with excitement not fear

The second vision Jesus took me into a cave. He told me to sit on one of the small boulders there. From the small doorway of the cave the sea would send in a small pool of water on the sand on the floor of the cave. Each time it came in it never even reached my feet. The sea could have surely filled the cave and killed me, but I knew it could not. I could see how easy it is to allow our imaginations to consider the fear but Jesus wanted me to know He sets the boundaries of the sea and the boundaries of our trials.

In the third vision, I was climbing up a staircase hewn into the cliff side that went from top to bottom diagonally. It had a handrail on it. Jesus was at my side. The sea was furiously coming in and hitting the cliff and it and me were being washed. I felt the cliff were the circumstances. I knew that Jesus wanted me to hold onto the handrail and I knew the handrail was the word and it would serve to stop me being washed away. And all the sea could do was wash me and the circumstances of my life. These were the hard trials that we are to walk through. It takes great perseverance not just to stay on the stairs but to keep climbing. But there is a great reward.

Sometimes we watch from high and see the tumultuous problems in the world. But we are safe
Sometimes we are in a trapped situation where God draws us near and asks us to rest and trust where if He doesn't control the situation...we've had it. It means total trust
Sometimes we find ourselves in a refining process where we are asked to walk by faith and to trust in Gods promises".

The Unashamed

I am a part of the fellowship of the Unashamed. I have the Holy Spirit
Power. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has
been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow
down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense,
and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight
walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions,
mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals.

I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or
popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised,
regarded, or rewarded. I now live by presence, learn by faith, love by
patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.

My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my
way is rough, my companions few, my Guide is reliable, my mission is clear.
I cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, diluted,
or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the
presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the
pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of
mediocrity.

I won't give up, back up, let up, or shut up until I've preached up, prayed
up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ. I am a
disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until He returns, give until I drop,
preach until all know, and work until He comes.

And when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me. My
colors will be clear for "I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the
power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.." (Romans 1:16)

Men's healing meeting

11th May

Chips, teas, coffees provided

We are going to hold a men's meeting at the Christian bookstall at 12:15pm

In a vision Jesus took me to a dark place and I saw dimly, people sat. Jesus told me to speak. As I spoke the word "Those who sit in darkness have seen a great light" I saw the people get up and go to Jesus's feet. He told me to hold one of their hands as I did we walked forward, my other hand holding on to Jesus's hand and I followed Him. They were all chained together, and as we walked into the light I saw their chains falling off.

The Father told me that this was to do with the healing meetings we would hold for men.

I prayed with several of the others about this, and we all felt that we should go ahead. So here goes and lets see what God's gonna do.!!!!!

Just joking

After a lifetime of hand-copying ancient texts, an elderly monk became abbot of his monastery.

Realizing that for centuries his order had been making copies of copies, he decided to examine some of the monastery's original documents.

Days later, the other monks found him in the cellar, weeping over a crumbling manuscript and moaning, “It says celebrate, not celibate.”
