How to pray

Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy Name
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
on earth as it is heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those
who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil
For thine is the Kingdom
the power and the glory
for ever and ever
Amen

The bible tells us that all who call upon the Lord will be saved. The name Jesus means God saves. His promise is true. If you are in a difficult situation call upon Jesus to help you, and He will surely come through.. People have been drowning or in other calamitous situations and have found that this prayer never fails.

If you are a Christian or not one of the best ways to pray is to be real with God. He is not into long repetitive prayers where he can't get a word in. (How not to pray.... Coffee with Jesus video) He probably gets as bored with them as we do, but he loves truth and honesty. Tell him how you really feel. But don't stop there. Just because you feel that way it doesn't mean its the truth. He wants to show you how He feels about the situation and its always so much more wonderful than we feel. Ask Him to show you the truth and when He does, walk in that truth until it becomes yours.
