The Lord is saying: Look forward to the good things in store. I am about to change things. Thank me in every situation, through the transitions and do not be shaken for I have promised my thoughts for you are for good and not evil; Wholeness and peace. Keep walking and looking forward and do not be held back by doubt of my love for you.

I would like to share today something that has been helping me recently.... It seems we are often in the position similar to Adam and Eve, when the devil tempted them to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The devil only ever comes to steal kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life and life in all of its fullness.

Even though there are many good things happening around us, to be thankful for.... isn't it strange how the enemy tries to get us focussed on something that we wish was different. Just as an example, my husband had cleaned up the kitchen.... what did I focus on.. only that the tomato sauce had been put on the wrong shelf..... Oops!!

There were many wonderful trees in the garden, probably hundreds of different types of fruits Adam and Eve could have eaten and been thankful for, yet their focus was being diverted to the one.... yes just one.... in all the hundreds of trees.

It helps me when I take my focus off of the one thing I am being tempted to feed my mind with, and to look at all the other good things that are in my life. When you thank God for Jesus and all the good things He has done for you, and His wonderful promises.... you are feeding on the good things that will bring abundance and you will find rest for you soul.

 

India Trip 3rd December 09 Please pray Three other ladies and myself are going to Southern India for 15 days. Inspirational Moments from Catherine

Kids!!! One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, “Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?” Her mother replied, “Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.” The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, “Momma, how come ALL of grandma’s hairs are white?”

Monies recieved from donators will go to towards the coming reachout trip to India. After December 3rd 09 it will help each month to pay the wages of the teachers in Faith school and to help House of Bread students here in England towards their training courses with AWMI and Ellel Grange Ministries
