Fire victims 2004

In 2002 House of Bread responded to a cry for help from Brother Raju of Andrha Pradesh..   He was struggling to help the orphans and widows of the low caste people of Tenali. Perikala Raju is a wonderful man of God who is doing all he can to evangelise, teach and bring aid to these poor people.

In 2004 we were able to supply him with a motorbike to help him get to the villages to preach the word and take provision. Previously he had to use a pushbike. God did a miracle when we prayed for the motorbike. Without knowledge of this, a lovely man of God ERIC CRAMPTON (who is now in heaven enjoying his reward), provided £600, just the amount that we needed for the bike. Brother Raju told us that a tramp he spoke to on the streets in late 2003 had prophesied and told him that he would have a bike in 2004. Praise God for His provision!!

Brother Raju has been running a school for several years and we supplied Brother Raju with wages for teachers, for a while. When House of Bread temporarily disbanded, the Watch of the Lord took this task over. However, now we have re-emerged we have been asked to take on this role again and for a few months have been providing £60 per month. This has now gone up to £80. The Watch of the Lord provide a daily school meal for the children.

The leader of the Watch of the Lord, Gudrun, went to India in 2007. She came back a different person. It broke her heart and she cried for months, afterwards. One of her main roles in life now is to try to help these suffering people. I decided to brave it and take the plunge and go with her last December 2009, after having a vision of Indian widows pleaing with such words as.... "WE HAVE WAITED SO LONG FOR YOU, WHY HAVEN'T YOU COME YET". After making the decision to go, God miraculously provided the money for me to go.

Newsletter from Gudrun on returning from India Dec 2009

Matthew :28v18 -20

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

My dear beloved Prayer Partners and Warriors for the Kingdom of God .

It is time to praise and thank the Lord for the past year and His wonderful goodness towards all the saints.

2009 and was a very special year for me, as the Lord gave me many visions and dreams, some of which are about future events which will take place in the Lord’s timing. We need to pray into this dreams and visions and write them down to show the Lord that we call it a great privilege to be used in this manner and ask for the true interpretation.

I have not long ago returned from a trip to India , where I saw the Lord move in great power. Many, many people were saved baptised in Holy Spirit and touched by the living God. It was an intense schedule, but the Lord gave me great grace, lots of energy and a joy unspeakable. The Lord revealed Himself in very special way, by giving me a dream about Bethlehem and the manger. I had never ever had a greater revelation about the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in my entire life before.

Shirley Howitt, my long standing friend who accompanied me to India , was greatly welcomed with her wonderful music amongst the people of India . She warmed the heart of the young and old people with her God giving, prophetic worship songs and made many friends on the mission field.

Pastor Florence Newell from Sheffield was a tower of strengths in the spiritual warfare that we were engaged in and I felt so blessed to have her on my side. The Pastors in India soon recognised the extra-ordinary intercessory-prayer gifting of dear Pastor Florence. We prayed for people were ever we went. In churches, on the streets in the villages, in the shops, in the many bible study etc. I never saw such hunger for prayer anywhere in the world. Dear Sister Anita Ball, our fourth companion, was greatly touched by the love that people showed towards us. It was truly overwhelming to see the poverty and living conditions of the people and yet they were so patient and grateful for the smallest gift that we gave them.

We had many Christmas parties where ever we went and Sister Anita prayed for hundreds of people with great faith and compassion. To God be the Glory. We knew we were in His perfect plan and purpose.

Now this was only possible because the Lord had giving us prayer backup in our own country, as well as abroad. Many people had giving me money for the ministry of brother P. Raju, in Andhra Pradesh, who has been called to minister to the Tribal people of Andhra Pradesh. He has started 5 “ Christian Schools ”, over a period of time over there, of which 2 are receiving a mid-day meal. With God’s help, we would like to extend that to every school, when we can receive more money.

Now let me thank you all again for helping us with our mission, by giving financially, praying or just believing in us to go and take the land for Jesus.

Let me use the words of the Apostle Paul:

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God onto Salvation, for all that believe.

Happy New Year to you all! I am going to withdraw for a while and seek the Lord with prayer and fasting for direction for the coming year. God Bless. Gudrun Brewster
