Last night I had a dream. In this dream I was very excited
about a revelation I was being given about how we are opposed
when we dance for the Lord. In this dream I remembered how
in real life, my friend Kate, many years ago, came under fire
when she danced unto the Lord. And another friend Katey was
told not to dance in her church. In my dream I was trying
to communicate to Kate how important it is to Jesus for us
to dance in worship, and how if its so important to Him it
must be important to us. In my dream Kate was trying to sleep
and really needing the rest, but I kept her awake trying to
explain to her this revelation.
Practising dancing for Aglow International
Yesterday the Lord told me in the morning that this day would
be important spiritually. I didn't know why till afterwards.
When I asked the Lord at the end of the day why this day had
been so important, He told me that as we danced in Doncaster
that strongholds were being brought down. My friend's W and
J and myself, had got together to practise dancing for Aglow
International later this month. We met in a church to go on
to the venue, the Danum, to practise. Wynne had felt led to
dance at the church during the service. Afterwards she was
told to make sure if she danced again to do it at the back
of the church and not the front, so as not to put new believers
off.
So I asked the Lord
This morning I got before the Father on this matter. I too
had been a bit unsure when W was worshipping in dance in the
church. I was confused, because I also had felt as though
an injustice had been done when she had been confronted. Should
I have been feeling this injustice, as I too had felt had
felt unsure about her dancing.
The wisdom God gave me as I laid it down before Him was this....
"BREAK THROUGH THE BARRIERS
AND DANCE."
If a church opposes, do not break their rules for they have
authority in that church. But where you can dance...then dance.
For example W had been told she could dance at the back
of the church, so that opportunity could have been taken by
us all.
When more people dance, the one on her own will not look
quite as different. We need each other in this. That's maybe
why, in my dream, I was trying to communicate the importance
to the others.... that we did this as a group.
Some of my songs have prophesied about dancing for the Lord.
My songs for years have included dancing, but it wasn't until
this year that I discovered more about dancing and the spiritual
significance it has..
