The
Lord is
saying. My beloved, walk on what you know is right. My word will
not fail, cannot fail, impossible to fail. Walk on knowing that
victory is sure. Walk on knowing that my plans for you are good
and not of disaster. Walk on knowing that Ihave come to give you
life and life in abundance and that your destiny I have planned
will surely come to pass. Walk on with your head held high knowing
I am your Father and you are my child. Have no fear.
"Dear friends, don't be surprised by the fiery troubles that
are coming in order to test you. Don't feel as though something
strange is happening to you" Peter 4: 13
Jesus
said in Mark 4:15 "These are the ones who are beside the
road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan
comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them
The
devil's only aim is to steal the word.
One
thing you can be sure about.... the devil is always and only after
taking the word out of people's hearts. He knows that if we start
to understand who we are and what we have in Christ.... he's finished....
When we take the word of God and believe it and let it bear fruit
in our lives, his (the devil's) kingdom is greatly undermined
and damaged. You can be certain of one thing, that when you have
had a glorious time with the Lord and He has given you some wonderful
promise...... you are in for a fight. The great fight of faith..
If
we have understood the promise and taken heed to it, the devil
can't swoop down and devour the word. So.....the next thing he
will try is to send offense so we will harden our hearts and the
word cannot take a firm root in our hearts. If he cannot do that
he will try to choke the word with the deceit of riches and cares
and worries of this world.
We
need to be so determined, even more so than the enemy of our souls
and hold tight to the word, just like it is the most precious
pearl (as indeed it is more precious than gold silver or any precious
stone).
If
we want to overcome we must:
Matthew
6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or,
What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For
after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly
Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek
ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto you..
John
15: 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask
what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father
glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
