The
Lord is saying: You please me my child, because of who you are.
I created you and love that which I made. The essence of you was
planned before the beginning of time. You were born in season,
and I designed you for such a time as this. You please me.
You may have heard the term 'debugging'
in computer language. When a developer is creating a new programme
it has to be tested for bugs. sometimes an error occurs and you
may end up with the whole computer crashing. The error is a sign
that the new programme has what they call a bug, which simple means
it has not been programmed correctly.
As we grow up we can take on beliefs
that cause us to do things that makes our life to crash.
Jesus said if we listen to his words
we will be like a man who built his life upon a rock. Matthew
7 24,25
Therefore whosoever
heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him
unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house; and it fell
not: for it was founded
upon a rock.
The world has taught us to hate to
get revenge
Jesus taught us to forgive and bless our
enemies
The world tells us to take and we
will have more
Jesus tells us that if we give we will have
more
The world tells us to think about
ourselves. I remember an old Yorkshire saying that goes....Hear
all, see all; say nowt. Eat all, sup all; pay nowt. An if tha
ever does owt for nowt, allus do it for thissen.
Jesus tells us that it will make us happier
if we give rather than receive.
The world tells us that the more we
can obtain the greater we are and that the richest people are
the most successful
Jesus said "what shall it profit a
man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
The world tells us that we must wield
power of people to get what we want
Jesus tells us that the meek shall inherit
the earth and that if we are to be great we must become the servant
of all.
Just because the way we have been
taught seems right, doesn't mean it is right and that it will
lead to happiness.
Being a Christian isn't just a nice
feeling that wears off after a few hours it's a total u turn in
our thinking. It's a process of reprogramming our minds, to learn
God's word and believe it. Consequently our actions and circumstances
change, bringing peace and happiness into our lives and the people
around us.
