Food for thought  30th October 09

Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.
Dale Carnegie

The Lord is saying: Forgive forget and walk on. Live in the now. You are a new creation every moment. Give that priviledge to the others as I have given this to you. My blood washes you clean. Give the same forgiveness and mercy to those who have hurt you.

When we were born again, the old man died 100% and the new man came alive 100%. Our nature is now all good and incorruptible. Our new nature cannot sin or think of sinning. You might say.."Well that can't be true... I can sin with the best of them"..When we understand and identify with who we really have become our mind and body will come in line. . Our new nature has been changed completely, but our mind is still programmed the same as before we got born again if we have not reprogrammed it by what the word of God says about us. Change will be effortless when we know and look at who we really are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 6, 7, 8 ,9,10 and 11. Verse 9 states that Jesus doesn't have to die
over and over again "knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more." 10 states "For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he lives, he lives unto God. Then Paul says in 11. LIKEWISE, like what… like that we've just read, like Jesus we must reckon ourselves dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. We are not needing to crucify our flesh daily, what we are needing to do is acknowledge the truth daily about our new nature.

TREASURED MEMORIES.
In my minds eye I see the stars,
and even minows in the jars,
On holy days and school holidays,
Even all along my many ways.

In Ireland in the Spring and Fall,
And Summer too on trips to Youghal.
As the cormorant dives my heart fills with mirth,
For I can see great beauty on this hallowed earth.
