The
Lord is saying: Yes continue to trust - you are still on track
and my plans have not changed. Continue to go forward, just like
I told you.
Entering into the
Joy of the Lord - part three
Jesus said ask in my name so that
your joy may be full. When we use our mouths to speak to the mountain
or to ask God to give us something we can rejoice and share in
His joy.
Rejoice in the
Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Phillipians 4.5-7
Just to get a glimpse into understanding
what God feels like when we say No to Him. Imagine you were throwing
a big birthday party for someone you loved. You invited the people.
You spent lots of money and hired the musicians and the caterers,
prepared the place beautifully and put all the decorations up.
You'd wrap a special present up for your special person. And then
lastly you invited your special person. Just imagine what you
would feel like if they turned round and said. "No I'm not
coming".
God longs for Joshua's and Calebs
to say "Yes lets go for it"
You know aren't we sometime like Israel? We need to repent for
thinking that God isn't planning something amazingly wonderful.
And you know the giants in our life are proof that He is. We need
to start thanking God for the giants that are growing so big that
they will come down with a bigger thump. To thank for the walls
of Jericho that are extra fortified because when they come crashing
down, the world will see that we have a big, magnificent, amazing
God. Impossible is nothing to Him
