The
Lord is saying. Yes you aren't ready, and you have
slacked in that which I've told you to do. But I have made provision.
Arise and go forward and do that which you know I'm asking and
be prepared. I will anoint you and perfect that which is lacking.
Do what you know you must do.
The Unconditional Promise of the Rainbow
We come into more and more of our inheritance
as we understand the truth of what Jesus has paid for for us,
revealed to us little by little, as we digest it, let it take
root, act upon it, walk on it and grow in it
On the morning of 20th February 2010, I
had a wonderful heavenly encounter, an amazing experience. The
night before I had stood on the promise that I was just as pure,
new and forgiven, right then, as the moment I had first entered
into the New Covenant and received Jesus into my life, and became
born again.
As I sang "I'm drinking at the streams
of living water" I could see in my imagination that my little
spirit legs were trying to stand as best they could upon this
truth. I saw roots going down down into this truth of the righteousness
God had provided for me in the death of His Son. until they reached
a river. Just like a tree that planted by the waters edge....
its roots drink from the nearby river, and as my roots sucked
up the water it was as though the water was made up of tiny
rainbows
In the morning the Lord took me to a place
in the spirit where I could see things I had never seen in the
scriptures before. They were opening up to me at a terrific speed
so I could hardly register it all. I was flicking through the
bible with my fingers keeping the places until I had to reach
for some cd's near the at hand, to hold the places, in Revelations,
Hebrews, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, Corinthians.
The rainbow.
I remembered that it was Noah that the Lord gave the rainbow
to. Noah and his family were the first to see the rainbow
and it was to signify the covenant, that the Lord would not flood
the earth again to destroy it..
Yet God had given a far more important covenant
to us in Isaiah 54..... This too was an unconditional promise
that would last forever.
Isaiah 54 9 For this is as the waters
of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should
no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be
wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but
my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant
of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
This word mercy is Racham and means fondle,
love, have compassion on and have mercy on
This covenant of Peace that the angels spoke about to the Shepherds
at Jesus's birth.. Peace to all men. Reconciliation betweeen God
and man can never be broken just as the promise to Noah could
not be broken. This covenant of peace was cut by the precious
blood of the Lamb. . Even if the mountains crumble into the sea
never shall the covenant of God's peace be removed, God's covenant
to never be angry with you again stands fast.
What Peace means
This word Shalom (peace) has several meanings.
One meaning is "Whole", another could be the actual
verb "Pay" usually in command form. other spins that
are worth noting, such "it was worth it" or "it
was paid for" or ""paid in advance." Hence
one can jokingly say that, "when it's paid-for then there
is peace," as in PEACE HAS A PRICE.
Isa 53:5 But he [was]
wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes
we are healed.
Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every
one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity
of us all.
In its use in Scripture, shalom describes the actions that lead
to a state of soundness, or better yet wholeness. So to say, shalom
seems not to merely speak of a state of affairs, but describes
a process, an activity, a movement towards fullness. Using the
King James Version as reference, James Strong lists the rendering
of shalom and shalam, among others, as:
