Food for thought  27th June 10.....

Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.

Thank You

Just Joking

27th June 10

The Lord is saying: Do that which I am asking of you. It is easy to become distracted by the cares of the world and the circumstances you find yourself in. Put my requests before all others, for the priorities that I highlight to you will surely bring you the greatest blessings and you will find that you have made great progress as you walk with me.

Last night we had our amazing 'quiet time' group. All we do for about an hour is listen. The space we give the Lord allows Him to bless us tremendously, but then..... we get a multiple blessing........Its what comes out afterwards when we share the visions, messages and encounters that is wonderful. The Lord shows us His mind in such an incredible way, and confirms what He has given to each of us.. One lady who attends said that she gets so spiritually fed that it lasts her for ages. Nobody leads except the Holy Spirit and He gets His full way. I suppose its a purer form of spiritual food than attending a service, because you don't have to sift out what's coming from man to get to what the Lord is saying.

The theme last night which seems to be something very much on God's mind is...

Rejoice evermore.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1Thessalonians 5:16 &18

I'll not go into all the visions but God told us clearly that that He is in control of all that we need and even when people are not for us, it is all still working for our good, for those who love Him. He holds king's hearts in His hand and turns them whichever way He wants. And of course everything He does is because He loves us. When we are blessed, it is He that has used someone to bless us. But He chooses, because He knows the very delicate balance of our human nature, and one factor is because He will get all the glory when the chips are down.

He holds all things in His hand. One vision that I will relate, was of someone sliding down a mountain on his bottom. Then a vision of padding being in the backside of some trousers. God showed us clearly that as we praise and thank in all things it will cushion us. Apparently the Lord sees the whole picture, but we see the pieces of the jigsaw and we don't know how they will fit together, but he does. We will be so glad, If we can trust Him and understand that He really is KING in our lives and praise Him in everything. When the whole things comes together and we see the complete picture we will receive such a great reward for believing when we couldn't see.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17&18

Lyrics to Joy to the World

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

Prayer Requests

Please could you pray for Jo . The report is that the cancer is in her brain. Pray for a mighty miracle for her physically and in her whole being, that all roots of hurt will be healed. Our God can do all things. In Jesus's Name

M is now in hospital, because of the severe depression that attacked her in the morning. They are putting her on anti-depressants to try to take her off of Ativan. Please pray that she will be stabilised and be able to come home. When she comes home it would be good for her to have a system in place that will help her to cope.

I record my songs next Wednesday. I would be grateful for prayer that my voice and guitar playing will be anointed and the resulting cd will be a blessing and also this time be lucrative. .

Thanks Shirley

Blossoms of thought (part two)

See full poem

....And we see cantankerous
blasphemy daring to touch the delicate God-ordained elegant beauty,

Endeavouring to defile and even to nullify, with spasms of horrific and horrendous malevolence, striving to inflict even with foreboding violence to crush the rich heavenly philosophy of beautiful thought.

But now when joy descends
His work is all to no avail, and pours on him disaster of a kind unknown to man.

Thought and imagination delicate in the extreme with embellishment of frothy lace prevails, being in bud and nestling 'neath the wings of parent hope, and effectually coming to full bloom with grandeur unequalled,
living in p
erfect harmony,
eager to tell her tale.

There crouching in the corridors the faint hum of awesome reality,
breathing uneasily and afraid lies hidden.
Afraid of genuine love and outreach lest the hope within should die and never live again .
With dark timbre and faint and shallow hue he hides reviewing the relinquishing of magnanimous hopefulness and lithesome quality of e
xpressive occasion.

Rainbow retreats and black despair breathes out his curtain sewn with disagreeable mists of pervasive shadows searching out with tantalising authority
His unprotected waiting prey.

Quietly the golden dawn slips away into chasms of glorious sumptuousness and echoes in the forbidding cold grey light of day, in act of transference awesome,

And so the battle begins again.

Sponsored Walk

A Message from Anita Ball

As you may already know a team of us went out to India in December of last year to visit with Brother Raju (who is also a medical doctor) and he took us round the tribal villages of Tenali that he cares for. He took us to many tribal villages but the one that needs our help now is the one in Guntur. This village is right next to a rubbish dump and they are desperately in need of a bore well. We need to raise at least £600 for this well to be dug and so I am going to do a walk around Dovedale at the end of June and for those of you who would like to sponsor me then please get in touch with either myself or Shirley to donate. There are so many good things that Brother Raju does for his people that if we are blessed to have more money than we need for the well this will then be spent feeding the children of the villages and helping Brother Raju provide medical care for all the tribal villages. I pray that God will put it in your heart to help these people. God bless to you all. Your sister in Christ Jesus xxx
