The Lord is saying. Yes the riches of my kingdom are far beyond any comparison with the riches of this world, for the riches of this world are temporary and leave the soul dry and barren without the knowledge of my love. But my riches are true riches not just in the soul, but permeating through all the areas of your lives through to eternity. Seek the riches that are found in my Kingdom and you will find all, and treasures beyond your comprehension. Give up everything to own the wealth that will last forever, true riches that the world does not know about, but you know about because you belong to me.

Paul said "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ" Phillipians 3:8

 

What glorious riches!!! ..........

You are a stone being built into the glorious New Jerusalem!!!!

 

I have been 'zinging' with the wonderful things the Lord is showing to me. The almost unspeakable things of the Lord that I long to share with you... How can you compare the jewels of the kingdom to the treasures of the world. Its impossible.... to gain Christ is to gain everything.....

How amazingly the Old earthly and the New Heavenly Jerusalem are connected!!!

In the Old Testament in Ezekiel 48, God allots the promised land to each of the tribes of Israel, and the twelve gates of the city (3 North, 3 South, 3 West, 3 East) were to be called after each tribe, Reuben, Judah, Levi, Joseph, Benjamin, Dan, Simeon, Issachar, Zebulun, Gad, Asher and the gate of Naphtali.
The end of the chapter reads. ....... and the name of the city from that day shall be,
THE LORD IS THERE.

In the New Testament we see the New Jerusalem in Revelations 21 how each gate will be made of one single pearl, the great street made of pure gold like transparent glass.... Wow!! what we have to look forward to...

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
"Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. ........
Revelation 21: 1-3

 

............And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Revelation 21. 10-14

The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass. Revelation 21. 18-21

What about us who love Jesus? Where do we fit in this glorious picture?!!!!!

 

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:19- 22

 

What is our function in this amazing structure?

As you come to him, the living Stone-rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to Him you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a .........

holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:4-6
