The Lord is saying: Do not be afraid. I have not changed. I am still the same and my love for you has not altered. My love for you is eternal and never falters or wavers with the way you feel. Walk with me and let me change your wavering and faltering to confidence and radiance that shines out of you for the world to see once again, as your security is grounded in my unfailing love.

This was explained to me in such a way that I'd like to try to share it the best I can...

God lives in the eternal "Now". When we live in the present moment, all thing are ours. Apparently there is horizontal time.... the tick-tock of each moment, as the clock of time ticks by in this physical realm. But there is vertical time, God's eternal "Now" cuts through each moment and as it does it bring all blessings to those who are living in the present moment.. If the devil can get us in the past condemning ourselves and others or in the future worrying about what is going to happen, we have moved out of "Now" and we are not in the place where God's blessings are pouring through this window of time and we miss out. As we stay in the "Now" we are in the right place at the right time to receive all God has for us.
