The Lord is saying. You are seeing the fruits of your labour. You are seeing the fruits of love, of laying down your life for your friend. Be assured that one selfless act means so much in this hurting world where many are being torn and wounded. To think and act like aKingdom dweller makes more difference in this world than you could ever know, for the ripples of sacrificial love will be seen even in eternity.

Matthew 5: 43-45 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:

Jesus is coming back - Get ready

Today the Lord was showing me that it is important to be ready at all times for His coming back. For those who are ready it will be a day of great celebration. Its important that we live as the new creations that we are, to walk with Jesus, forgiving and living a life of love, like the servant who watches and waits for His master's return, feeding those who have been put under his charge.

Its time to find out what your callings and gifting are and to know how to fulfil them. What we are determines what we must do!!! If you are a giver its time to give. If you are a pastor its time to feed the sheep. If you are an evangelist....Its time to evangelise!!! Jesus is coming soon!!

Jesus is coming sooner than we think!!! Yet the Body of Christ in in a terrible state of division, wounded and in pain. But the Lord has promised full redemption. He will have a bride without spot or wrinkle.

As the days seem to merge into one another, time going by so quickly, there needs to be a wake up call. Jesus hated lukewarmness. We need to be hot hot hot for Him. Jesus told about how on the day He comes back, it will be like Noah's time, people buying, selling, giving in marriage and those every day things, that we all need to attend to. But its important prioritise and to have an eternal perspective. Yes doing the things that need doing, but keeping our focus on the important things that will last forever.

 

"The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed" (Rom. 13:11). , "Let us not be like others who are asleep, but let us be alert" (I Thess.5:6)."Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" (Ephesians 5 v.14).

 

Luke 12:35..... "Let your loins be girded and your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the marriage feast, so that they may open to him at once when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes; .............The faithful servant was doing what he was called to do.... to give the portion of food to those he had been given charge over.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.Ephesians 4:11

Adventures in India Read the wonderful testimony of how God used us to pray for a dying man ... ....Tuesday 8th December 09 - Night time After two very dynamic, eventful meetings during the day we were taken way out into the countryside to a night meeting. About 50 people were sat on the floor waiting for us. There faces all lit up as we arrived. After ministry and singing we prayed for them individually and they were so grateful. As Anita writes in her journal "They kissed our hands as though we are something special and we aren't. It makes you feel so humble". This picture reminds me of the vision I had many months ago, that helped me make the decision to go to India. In the vision I saw Indian ladies sat on the floor, looking so sad and saying to me "We have been praying for you to come. Why haven't you come yet"? We handed out blankets.   The most wonderful thing about these meetings are the change in the faces of these people when the Spirit of the Lord comes down upon the meetings. Their faces shine with the presence of the Lord.
