The Lord is saying...Keep going forward you still have much ground to claim, do not flinch back or become discouraged. You will gain and recover all if you keep going forward.

And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
1 Samuel 30:8

Many years ago the Lord showed me that in the scripture of John chapter 10, He promised that He came to give us life and life in all of its fullness and that this means victory in everything.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ....2 Corinthians 2:14

Just like Joshua had a strategy to bring down the walls of Jericho, so the Holy Spirit will give us a strategy to lead us into victory. What would have happened if the Israelites had not marched round the walls? For six days these men walked around one time and on the seventh day they walked aroud them SEVEN TIMES and they sounded the trumpets. Once the trumpets sounded and the men yelled the Walls came crashing down!! (The story can be found in the bible: Joshua 6:1-20)

In my experience the Lord usually has had me to follow Him and pray in the Spirit, to come into a place where His victory is seen in my circumstances.

The Holy Spirit is always praying. When we use our mouths to pray in the Spirit we are just stepping into the flow of that continual prayer. The wonderful thing is that perfect prayer is being spoken through us and bringing about into our's and other's circumstances God's answer to our problems. We make ourselves a channel for that River of life to pour out and bring the Kingdom of God onto the earth.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) (JOH 7:38-39)

A heart's longing

Leaning over the waterfall

I dream a dream that no one will fall

Below the lost horizon

And that all will hear the call

Of He who gently whispers

Across the expanse of time,

To us who love the Christ Child

And heard in an earlier clime,

Of all He came to earth to do

For all people even me and you.
