Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek but a means by
which we arrive at that goal.
- Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Lord is saying...

Peace be still.... Quieten your heart and stay upon me. I will deal with those things that you cannot deal with. It is time to let go and to trust, for I will not let you down. I am in charge of the big things and the small things, and the outcome will be all I desire. Yet I require you to rest now upon my strength and competency and leave it all in my capable hands.

John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Peace.

The glory of your peace O Lord is crowned more beautifully in solitude the free and gentle solitude of creature and creator communing on an ephemeral wavelength.

How glorious is your peace my Lord pervading my innermost being, holding it in stillness, like a calm day on your beloved lake galilee.

Your peace enfolds my heart in softness like the gently-moving cotton wool cloud O, Lord how wonderful to experience that which surpasseth all understanding and to arise refreshed and revived to follow your path.

Your graciousness to your children knows no bounds, You" who stand at the door and knock"

I pray that all of creation in one gigantic love-filled movement opens her portals InvitingYou in.

O, what a peace there would be. A peace enfolding us in beautiful stillness like on a summer's night when the hustle and bustle of the busy day has paled into insignificance and the gentleness of the twilight holds us tenderly in her arms.

Dear Llord, may we who love you ever receive Your love-filled peace for our world-weary souls are needing to bathe therein

We stand before you Majesty and humbly thank You for your precious gift of peace

Catherine O'Halloran.
