“There is power in God’s Word to make that which does not exist appear.”

Smith Wigglesworth

The Lord is saying...

Beware of those in sheep's clothing that are out to steal your joy. My word never brings heaviness and sadness. My word always brings freedom and never bondage. Do not swallow everything you hear about Me and what I am supposed to be saying to you. You will know what does not sit well in your spirit. Therefore test the word and eat gladly what you know to be true, but leave that which you are not sure of. I give you permission to leave that which you are not sure of, for I will always give you a witness in your spirit of my will for you.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. (Acts 20:28-30)

When trying to discern the will of God, You can ask yourself the question..."Do I I know that this thing is God's will, if you cannot say "yes" then you do not have to worry about fulfilling it. God will not hold you to what you do not know to be His will only to that that you do know.

Another way to know God's will is if you feel a peace about it. There is a feeling of assurance and peace right there in the pit of your stomach when God's will is discerned. Conversely, when you're decision causes a feeling of disturbance its a good indicator that the Holy Spirit is checking you to change your course of action.

More of Smith Wigglesworth's quotes

“Ah, brothers and sisters, we have no idea what God has for us if we will only begin! … We will be able to succeed only as we do the work in the name of Jesus. Oh, the love that God’s Son can put into us if we are only humble enough, weak enough, and helpless enough to know that unless He does i, i will not be done!”

“I am here to help you to begin doing mighty acts in the power of God through the gifts of the Spirit. … The man who is filled with the Holy Spirit is always acting. … Jesus had to begin to do, and so must we.” [Acts 1:1]
