The Lord
is saying: Be prepared, I am watching and can see that there
is a storm on the horizon. You have seen many storms in the
past few months and now another one is rising. Do not let
it take you by surprise, but be ready. Be ready with the word.
Examine your weak points, the chinks in your armour, the cracks
in your walls, where the mortar of my word needs to be strengthened.
Ask me where you need to be stronger on my word, where the
gaps are. I will show you and help you to be ready to stand.
The storm shall not cause you to falter if you will stand
and stand firm. But you cannot do this unless you are firmly
grounded in my promises. Remember I will show you if you ask
me..
1 Timothy
6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith
.
1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this
is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
John 16:
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might
have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be
of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
When
Kenneth Copeland was being taught to fly an airplane he had
to practise flying and landing the plane in all types of simulated
circumstances. He had to prepare for every eventuality so
that whatever happened he would automatically do the correct
thing at the correct time and bring the plane under control
and bring it down safely. He practised this over and over
again until it was second nature to him.
The
Lord showed him that he must do the same in his spiritual
life. To practise and meditate on the promises of God, so
that whenever adversity struck unexpectedly, Kenneth would
be equipped to deal with eventuality swiftly and effectively.
Its important to have our armour on and to have the sword
of the Spirit, the word of God ready, so that we can quickly
overcome when circumstances seem unfavourable.
Watch ye
therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy
to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to
stand before the Son of man.Luke21:36

You are my fortress
My strength and my shield
Every weapon formed
against me will have to yield
For the rock of your word
will never fail
to protect, to deliver from
all that assails
Your little one will rest
and nestle and sleep
in the crook of your arm
Never no never will
you allow your little one to come to some harm.
