"You will always be right when you dare to treat sickness as the devil's work."

Smith Wigglesworth

The Lord is saying...

For I have given you power over all the works of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Therefore do not be afraid to speak to the principalities and powers that have sought to make life hard for you. I will back you up and you will see your enemy fleeing from you very quickly. I have come that you might have life and life in all its fullness. Do not be tricked into thinking that I came to bring death and sickness. Take your stand and command the enemy to take his hands off of what I bought for you on Calvary's tree.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

Bible in Basic English
For this cause be ruled by God; but make war on the Evil One and he will be put to flight before you. James 4:7

It is so important that we realise the authority we have in Christ. If we only knew how much we have put up with from demons that have run rings round us when we just needed to tell them to go in that mighty name and nature of Jesus Christ. Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. The Kingdom that is in us suffers violence from demonic forces to try to take away the peace and joy that Christ won for us, and we need to violently come against the one who is coming against us.You wouldn't gently tell pigs to go out of your parlour... No... you would chase them out with the biggest stick you could find!

Jesus won all the battles on Calvary, and he gave us the job of policing what he won for us. We win when we get on the battleground and stand declaring that the ground belongs to Jesus knowing that we have the legal rights to tell the trespassers to go. Its time we got some righteous anger and took a lesson from Jesus, when he ran amok in the temple. We don't need to come against people, we haven't been given authority over them, but we need to carry on the work that Jesus came to do..... to destroy the works of the enemy....

"The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil." 1 John 3:8
