The Lord
is saying. Forgive yourself, forgive others and walk on into
a new day. Take with you your lessons, but leave the pain
and judgements behind. I make all things new. Things are changing
around you. The scenery is changing around you, setting the
stage for the next episode. So be ready to play your part
without the old attitudes but with newness of life and love
of life, and love of people knowing that I am taking care
of the details, and the nuances of the past. All things are
in my hand..
"Forget
the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing
a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I
am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV"
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever
things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever
things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if
there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
KJV
"Brothers,
I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But
one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward
what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize
for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 3:13-14 NIV

DON'T QUIT!
When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer, with its twists
and turns
As everyone of us sometimes learns
And many a failure turns about
When he/she might have won had he/she stuck it out
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned
inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
