Food for thought

Though our feelings come and go, Gods
love for us does not.
C.S. Lewis

I have found the paradox, that
if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more
love.

God's
thoughts towards you
|
The
Lord is saying: Fear not, I am your mighty warrior. If you could
fully comprehend ....
-
the dimensions of my love for you
-
my mighty power to save and deliver you
-
that my thoughts towards you are as numerous as the sand on the
seashore and that every one of my thoughts are for doing you good.
-
that my care towards you is tireless
......
you would never be afraid again, but rejoice evermore in every
circumstance. Therefore meditate on my love for you, rest in it,
revel in it... for this pleases my heart.
Ephesians
3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth
is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches
of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the
inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that
ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend
with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and
height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
I
know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are
plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled
with hope.
Jeremiah
29:11.
. . He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
(Psalm 121:1, 4)
Psalm
139: 17 God, how difficult Your thoughts are
for me [to comprehend];
how vast their sum is!18 If I counted them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand;
when I wake up, I am still with You.

The Father's Care.
The Father's care of His children
is awesome to behold;
is more splendid than the moonlight;
than all amazing stories
that were ever told.
He speaks,
"My child come close to Me,
near to my heart
and you will see,
though you traverse the world
a million times,
love like to this one can hardly find,
... as the love
I have for thee".
Catherine O'Halloran.
