The Lord
is saying. Know that freedom is my will for you. There is
no limit to the wonder I have in store for you. The boundaries
I place on you are freedom, for on the other side of the line
is bondage, pain and torment. True freedom is staying in my
truth and making it your own. Then you can fly unhindered.
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye
continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And
ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They
answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage
to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus
answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth
sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in
the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore
shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
John 8: 31-36
Grace
is free the truth is not. We are
to, "Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Proverbs
23:23
When
God lightens up His word to us and our hearts burn with joy
at the revelation, it is not the end, but the beginning of
the story. There is usually a price to pay for the truth.
Not that we have to buy the promises of God, no!!... they
are Yes and Amen in Christ. However the revelation of them
and the light and freedom they bring can be easily replaced
with other things if we do not value wisdom, truth and understanding
above all else.. There is usually something we need to let
go to make room for the truth.
Wisdom
is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all
thy getting get understanding.
Proverbs 4:7
How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get
understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Proverbs 16:16
."Again, the Kingdom of Heaven
is like a man who is a merchant seeking fine pearls, who having
found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that
he had, and bought it." Matt
13:45,46
Lets
not forget who is the 'Word' and who is 'Wisdom' when we make
room for the 'Truth' It is Jesus Himself who gets to dwell
more fully in us and with Him brings His untold riches that
far outweigh anything this world can offer.
"Let
the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom."
(Col. 3:16)

The wisdom of man.
When I look at the sand on the seashore and see
all the work of His hand;
The Garden of Eden He thought
on to be the accomplishment of all He had planned.
How man in his wisdom has
spoiled things from the depths of the seas to the
skies,
From now on may we seek His
wisdom and put all works of darkness to flight.
Catherine O'Halloran.
