The Lord
is saying...
Fear
not, you have gathered strength and I have shown you how to
fight effectively. Carry on and do not falter for you shall
see your enemy falling every side he has attacked you on.
Learn the lesson well... You have authority over all the works
of the enemy and you do not have to put up with his thievery
and shenanagins. Use your weapons wisely and never against
people for they too have been deceived and wounded.
I dreamt yesterday that I was in authority
in a class of some description and was being unfair to a student
deliberately to show them they had put up with being unfairly
treated, as though this female I was teaching, had been walked
all over by a boyfriend or someone. Then yesterday, later
on in the day, to my surprise Worf on Startrek (Its amazing
how many ways God uses to speak to us) was taking a karate
class and put a blindfold on a student and told her she was
up for promotion but had to pass a particular test. He floored
her 3 times and told her she should try harder at anticipating
his attack. After the third attack she tore the blindfold
off and said she wouldn't go any further because it was unfair.
He told her she had passed the test for being brave enough
and standing up for herself when something was not right.
Many times after that yesterday, I saw or heard the word "unfair"
I really believe God is trying to tell me something. Strange
how I've always been a great enthusiast for the 'blessed are
the meek'. But it seems that God doesn't like His children
being messed about by the devil, and there is a time for saying
a resounding "NO..ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"
And so as
I brought the dream before the Lord this morning, He showed
me that it was the enemy that I needed to stand up to and
not put up with the things he has done against me. We think
its God when things go wrong but it can be our own fault for
not standing up for ourselves, for He has given us power over
"All the works of the enemy". I felt that in Isaiah
and in the New Testament the piece that reads ....
The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me
to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal
the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them
that are bruised, luke 4 18
.......is
much do with Christ's ministry in destroying the works of
the devil and that is what we are called to do, to be as Christ
in this world. We need to get angry and to do something about
stopping him from stealing killing and destroying. Jesus came
to give us life and life in all of its fullness. The enemy
came to steal kill and destroy. We have to bind his works
up and destroy his works from others lives too...
Is not this the fast that I have
chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy
burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break
every yoke? Isaiah 58 6
I
love how Smith Wigglesworth puts it... That He that is in
us is greater than He that's in the world. From the Kingdom
within us, we take authority in the nature and name of Jesus
Christ and tell the enemy, in whatever form he is attacking,
to desist. Smith says that every, every every sickness is
of the devil and comes to try to steal our peace that is rightfully
ours in the Kingdom of God. Its time to resist the devil and
submit to God.
