The miracle is this - the more we share, the more we have.
-- Leonard Nimoy

He sowed a son.

by Catherine O'Halloran.

The night holds no fear now as the days of harvest approach

And all things are beautiful
before our eyes, even the tall trees,

For anger is no more and the sound of mourning has flown away.

For now the birds sing a new and a wholesome song as his glory is revealed amongst us,

And the heavens rejoice over the blessing of the seed sown
many days ago.

Gratitude springs forth from every heart, an abundance of gratitude.

For he sowed a Son that he might reap a harvest of sons from the earth,

And his joy shall soon be complete.

The Lord is saying. I am close, do not react to the circumstances but act, for I am playing my part and working with you. What you see in the world is not as it is in the Kingdom so keep your eyes fixed on me and see the circumstances changing, as you look to the unseen and not to the seen.

Ecclesiastes 11. 1 Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days. ....... 4 He who watches the wind will not sow and he who looks at the clouds will not reap..

Its important that we keep sowing good seeds through times of discouragement, poverty and misfortune. For there is a law that cannot be changed. What we sow we reap... The problem is that when the going gets tough its easy to stop sowing good seeds and to start sowing bad ones. But the law that say's ... what goes around comes around ...is working all the time. Although things might seem as though they are not changing, if we continue to do and say good things...suddenly the dam bursts, the heavens open and the floods of blessings start to pour.

We cannot do anything to stop the law of sowing and reaping but we can work with it to bring a harvest of good to our lives. Whatever we are lacking, if we sow seeds of that kind we shall surely get a harvest to fill the void. Loneliness can be overcome, by going to the lonely and keeping them company. Poverty can be overcome by giving out of the little we have to help the poor. We want friends, we should become friendly to the friendless. If we need someone to hear our problems then we should become good listeners. In gardener's terms if you plant carrot seeds you get carrots every time. Whatever your need is... plant like seed.

Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
