Inspired by Daily Bread
Like a toddler learning to walk, a parent is never discouraged
seeing his son falls. They will never stop teaching their children
to walk until they learn how to walk.
Same with our Father. He is never discouraged every time we fall.
He is never discouraged with our progress, nor will He ever give
up. The more difficult we find the process, the more care and kindness
He expends.
When it seems that we don't know anything but to make mistakes,
His grace is sufficient for all of it. Like a father seeing his
son falls, He is picking us up every time we fall. He won't stop
until we learn to walk towards Him.
"being confident of this, that he who began a good work in
you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."-
Philippians 1: 6
Even though you fall, you must try again. Our Father holds you
by the hand.
God will help us when we cannot walk, and He will help us when
we find it hard to walk, but He cannot help us if we will not walk.

The
Lord is saying. I am with you. Do not be afraid to move forward.
Don't you know that all my blessings are waiting for you to
walk in to. Just a step of faith is all I ask. The rest will
be easier, for I will meet you in your step of faith. Until
then I wait. Because until you step, all of heaven is waiting
with baited breath. I am able but I will not do it without
you.
Walking
with Jesus
Part
2
A
thought produces an action produces a habit produces a character
produces a destiny.
When
the Holy Spirit inspires us to take certain steps it is vital
to turn our thoughts into action.
Years
ago when I was searching for the peace and joy I had lost
through sin and disobedience, one truth was a great comfort
to me. God would always show me the next step on my pathway
back to His blessings. As I wrote in a song (see video
spot) "Each step I take is paved with light
.that
you sent to guide me through the night
to bring me back
to be by your side". He constantly assured me that whosoever
wants to come into the blessings
..no matter how dark
the place they have found themselves in, or how far they have
journeyed from His side.
He will always give enough light
to see the next step back. We might not always understand
what lies beyond that step, but we will always know the next
step. Sometimes we can only cope with one step at a time.
The
minute we confess our sin as wrong, we are back in the light.
But the effects from letting the devil in, can take longer
to mend. Yes! our spirit is still in that incorruptible state
but when we sin we give the enemy the chance to cause havoc
to our physical, emotional and mental processes. Also when
we come into bondage to the sin that we submit to, our habits
change, and the pathway back to balance and freedom can take
some time and determination. This process of being transformed
by the renewing of our mind is undergone by our listening
to God, heeding His word and constantly choosing to believe
and to act out the right, loving way. This we have choose
over what our emotions and flesh tells us to do, no matter
how loud they shout. Each time we choose to walk in this light
we become stronger ..... While ever we are taking steps of
faith and love we can know that we are on an upward trend
and things are going to get better. If we love today- we'll
be stronger tomorrow.
