“Faith isn't faith until it's all you're holding on to”

"For he has given his angels charge over thee"

by

Catherine O'Halloran.

The angels come in winter weather

Cool spring days and summer storms

For he decreed it as his promise

Which is still as fresh as each new morn

No lie was ever in his life

But love and joy and peace not strife

His desire for us to take His word

And proclaim it as we would use a sword.

The Lord is saying: Arise and go forward and do not be afraid. I have told you that My plans for you are good. Do not flinch at the work I have for you to do for I shall surely be with you and help you in all you put your hand to. Go forward now and be not afraid.

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee .Joshua 1:5.

God always gives us everything we need to accomplish that which He calls us to do. The only problem is when we take the first step it is usually a step of faith. For many people not having a known source of supply can be a cause of major disturbance. But God gives us the supply as we need it. When we take our first step of faith the supply of God comes rushing in, then the next step and the next, every time followed by God's supply. It takes some getting used to this kind of living, but those who have started on the journey know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God has never let them down. However we are in a process and sometimes the next step of faith seems the hardest. Eventually the knowledge that God will never let us down sinks into the deepest regions of our being and we step out more confidently trusting in an unfailing God.

Habbakuk 2:4 .....but the just shall live by his faith.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1Peter 5:10
