“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.”

The Time of The Singing of Birds.
( A message of Joy to come)

by Jacky Ball

There will be joy in all things
Winter will die at last
The time of the glorious singing of birds
Will certainly come to pass

The valleys and hills will rejoice
Flowing as carpets of peace
The flowers will dance to the
Lord their God
A dance that will never cease

In the shade of the lush green trees
Near the heart of the great I Am
with the sun's smile
and the strumming of bees

The lion will lie down by the lamb
To the sound of a heavenly harp
The people of God will sing
Creation will shout its jubilant praise
And no more suffering!

"For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing has come,…"
(Song of Solomon 2:11-12)

The Lord is saying.....Do not be afraid, have I not said I will not leave you nor forsake you. I have seen your worried look and your intensity as you are thinking about your problem. Do you not know that I have gone before you and I have dealt already with this. Praise me and rejoice and see the mighty miracle I am working in the background. And do not fret but know that I am almighty and all powerful and there is nothing too hard for me.

Nothing is impossible to God?

Gen 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD?

Only two things are impossible where God is concerned. It is impossible for Him to lie and secondly it is impossible to please Him without faith.

Num 13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

God loves impossible situations. These are the times that He is looking with great anticipation to see if our reaction is one of trust. The bigger the mountain the more glory He gets. When the Israelites went to spy out the promised land it seemed that they were grasshoppers in the sight of the giants . Well! that was as far as the majority of them were concerned. However, two of them, Caleb and Joshua had a different spirit altogether. They viewed the giants with great excitement. Imagine seeing things in this way..... the bigger the problem.....the greater the excitement. They knew that God could never let them down. Perhaps all they were interested in was how He would defeat their foes, not if He would.

To get faith we need to receive a word from God. When we know what God is saying, we have something to hang our faith on. Then we can know for certain that God will not go back on His promise.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Lord please give us that type of faith to know that you will never, never, never let us down and to view our problems as great opportunities to see you glorified. and to see that the bigger the problem the greater the testimony.

Comments: This is an authentic photograph -- or rather, composite of photos -- taken by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and at the Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona. The image was featured on NASA's Website as an Astronomy Picture of the Day in May 2003 and thereafter posted on a number of Websites under the title "The Eye of God" (though I have found no evidence that NASA has ever referred to it as such). The awe-inspiring image has also been featured on magazine covers and in articles about space imagery.

What it actually depicts is the so-called Helix Nebula, described by astronomers as "a trillion-mile-long tunnel of glowing gases." At its center is dying star which has ejected masses of dust and gas to form tentacle-like filaments stretching toward an outer rim composed of the same material. Our own sun may look like this in several billion years.
