The Lord
is saying I am with you and I will uphold you through this
time. Just look at me and stay in my presence and do not look
at the temptation that would lure you from my side and from
my safety. Stay with me and look at me, focus and I will sustain
you. I promise.
1Co
10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common
to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to
be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation
also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
James
1:12-15 Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for
when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which
the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say
when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be
tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own
lust, and enticed.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and
sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
When
you are tempted remember that the devil is after something
and also God is after something. The devil comes only to steal
kill and destroy, but Jesus has come that you might have life
and have it more abundantly. When the pressure is on it seems
like its the worst time ever, but we are to see it as a great
opportunity. James says that blessed is the man who endures
temptation for he SHALL receive the crown of life. It's exam
time... a chance to win some ground. So we know now that the
devil is after killing you, stealing from you and trying to
destroy you. He tries to lure you into his trap. But Jesus
is planning to reward you, give you life and build you up.
James
1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers
temptations;
Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect
and entire, wanting nothing.
Our
Father...... lead us not into temptation....but deliver us
from evil.
Help all that read this to be strong and to walk with your
Son Jesus and to not look to the right or left but to make
straight paths for their feet. Cleanse their hearts Lord and
give them such a passion for you that they will not be lured
away. Fill them with your Holy Spirit and give them grace
that they might rejoice in the difficult times, acting on
Your word and not reacting to the circumstances. Give them
discernment to know the difference between what is truth and
what isn't.. In Jesus Name I ask this. Amen
